Manufacturing Methods : 2-Methyl-5-nitrobenzenesulfonie acid from the condensed products and Benzene-1,4-diamine condensation. That was 2-Methyl-5-nitrobenzenesulfonie acid sodium hydroxide solution at reflux under heating together with Benzene-1,4-diamine , its molecular ratio is 2:1. Its product (C.I.Direct Orange 28, C.I. 40065) diazo, and 6-(Dimethylamino)-4-hydroxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid in alkaline conditions coupled.
Properties and Applications: brown. Soluble in water for yellow orange to brown, slightly soluble in soluble fiber element, insoluble in other organic solvents. The strong sulfuric acid for Violet, dilute precipitation after dark brown; In nitric acid partly dissolved for red light brown.
