Properties and Applications:yellow red. From toluene in the crystallization product melting point 224 ℃. Soluble in hot ethanol and benzene in red. In concentrated sulfuric acid to red light blue, dilution to red light purple solution, and then have red brown precipitation. Dye ethanol solution to join concentrated hydrochloric acid is dark red; Join concentrated sodium hydroxide solution for bright red light brown. Mainly used in oil, fat and wax, soap coloring.
