Properties and Applications: blue. Soluble in ethanol, o-chlorophenol, Pyridine, slightly soluble in acetone and soluble fiber element, insoluble in benzene, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform and pottery, solvents, toluene,. In the strong sulfuric acid as dark blue, red deepen after diluted.
