Manufacturing Methods :  (C.I. 64510) department is 1,5-Diaminoanthraquinone bromine into 1,5- diamino-2 ,4,6,8- tetrachloro-anthraquinone, then and  p-Methylaniline condensation, stlfonation, and translated into sodium salt. Note: aniline and m-Toluidine similar products. (C.I. 64515) department is anthraquinone two nitration for 1,5-Dinitroanthracene-9,10-dione and 1,8-Dinitroanthracene-9,10-dione mixture, then reduction, chlorinated into four chlorine derivatives, again with a condensation of p-Methylaniline, stlfonation, and translated into sodium salt.

Properties and Applications: dark green light blue. Red light dark blue powder, fights for sensitive, not soluble in cold water, slightly soluble in hot water (red light blue), slightly soluble in ethanol and a bright blue. The strong sulfuric acid for red, dilute to blue. Its water solution to join sodium hydroxide have dark purple precipitation.
