Manufacturing Methods : N,N-dimethylaniline in sulfuric acid solution with Formaldehyde and N,N-dimethyl-4-nitrosobenzenamine processing, then and 2-Hydroxy-3-methylbenzoic acid reaction. This product in fiber on oxidation.

Properties and Applications: brilliant purple. Slightly soluble in water for hot ash purple, soluble in ethanol to purple. In concentrated sulfuric acid for brilliant yellow brown, dilution after Ocher yellow. Dye aqueous solution to join concentrated sodium hydroxide solution have light purple precipitation.
